Abstract

With the expansion of intelligent technologies in educational systems, mathematics education has also undergone a fundamental transformation. Tools such as adaptive learning platforms, language models, and intelligent tutoring systems provide a suitable environment for personalizing students’ learning experiences and enhancing teachers’ professional development. This study aims to examine the role of these technologies in transitioning from traditional teaching to adaptive learning in mathematics education. The research was conducted using a systematic review methodology, following established frameworks in scientific literature, and relevant recent scholarly articles were extracted, screened, and analyzed.

The study focuses on two main areas: empowering teachers in the design and implementation of intelligent instruction, and improving learning through personalized education for students. The findings indicate that intelligent technologies play a significant role in enhancing motivation and academic performance by increasing teaching effectiveness, creating opportunities for individualized learning, providing immediate feedback, and adapting content to different learning styles. At the same time, challenges such as the digital divide, infrastructure limitations, teachers’ lack of technological skills, and ethical considerations remain prominent.

The results of this research emphasize the necessity of revising educational policies, investing in teachers’ professional development, and responsibly and ethically leveraging intelligent technologies in mathematics education.
