Review of studies and research conducted on the application of multimedia technologies in elementary mathematics education

This study aims to investigate the results of research conducted on the effect of using multimedia technologies in teaching elementary mathematics on the level of learners' learning, till teachers can familiarize themselves with the tools and used of their produced in teaching and, if necessary, prepare multimedia content appropriate to the teaching subject.
One of the main goals of education is teaching and learning and using appropriate tools to improve this process. Since one of the factors affecting the improvement of the teaching and learning process is the use of information technology in education, producing educational multimedia and using them in teaching to improve this process is one of the main goals of the education system. In this study, the library study method was used to introduce the applications that have been created and to collect studies conducted on the effect of multimedia on student learning and motivation.
According to studies, one of the factors affecting students' academic performance in mathematics is their interest in mathematics and their attitude towards mathematics. In the elementary school since students are young age, so they did not understand abstract concepts and the weakness learning mathematics are more visible in these students. Research shows that the use of multimedia-based learning environments in the learning process can crate motivation. On the other hand, because when using multimedia content in education, learners use different senses to learn; therefore, learning will be faster and more lasting. This can will help to accelerate and improve the education process, especially in mathematics.
