Abstract: Researchers have always sought to find an answer to solve learning problems and to fix deficiencies and defects in the teaching and learning process. The use of educational technology at the school level has increased the interest and motivation of students in learning. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of the GeoGebra math educational software in teaching trigonometry, exponential and logarithmic functions in the 11th grade of high school. For this purpose, four experimental 11th grade classes from four high schools in Sarovabad city, which included two high schools for girls and two high schools for boys, were selected as subjects. First, a teacher-made pre-test was taken to measure students' mathematical knowledge from all subjects, then two classes were taught as a control group using the traditional method, and two other classes were taught as the experimental group using the textbooks designed by the researcher in the GeoGebra software platform. After completing the training, a post-test was taken from each group. The results of the statistical analysis of covariance using SPSS software version 26 showed that there is no significant relationship between the pre-test and post-test scores of the control group, but there is a significant relationship between the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group, and it showed the positive effect of using GeoGebra software on students' learning. The results of this research show that taking help from educational software in the teaching process can be very efficient in transferring mathematical concepts.
